Kathy's Cottage
Kathy's Cottage is a comfortable, well equipped property which sleeps 4, in a elevated position in the delightful valley of Deepdale, about 300m from the A592 between lakes Ullswater and Brotherswater, with panoramic views across the valley to Place Fell.
The accommodation, which is all on one level consists of:-
- Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with ice box, microwave oven and dishwasher
- Living room with bay window dining area, which makes the most of the views of the surrounding fells. There is satellite TV, video and DVD player
- Two double bedrooms, one with small double bed, both enjoying superb views of the surrounding fells.
- Bathroom with shower over the bath and heated towel rail
- All bed linen is provided, towels are not
- The cottage is heated by night storage heaters, and an electric fire in the sitting room
- Water is from our own private supply fed by a spring, filtered and treated by U.V. light
- Ample parking for 2 cars
The cottage has a garden with lawn, rose beds and paved patio are with seat. There is a stream and small waterfall running to the side of the property.
Kathy's Cottage is perfectly situated for those who want a quiet retreat but yet wish to be in a central location, being only a short drive from many of the Lake District's well known attractions. There are walks suitable for all abilities from the doorstep, including High Street, Place Fell Helvellyn and Fairfield.
