Noran Bank Farm is situated to the south side of Lake Ullswater and the small village of Patterdale, 5 minutes walk away from the Coast to Coast route.
It lies nestled under Arnison Crag overlooking Placefell with wonderful views up the valley towards Kirkstone Pass.
The family have run a Bed & Breakfast business for many years spanning three generations. The 17th century farmhouse, dating back to 1617, still has the original oak beams and is suitably furnished to maintain the character of the house.

Our new bunkhouse has been converted to a very high standard,
open all year round and good value for money 1st floor has fully equipped kitchen and seating area in which to relax. wet room with 2 showers, WC upstairs/downstairs 2nd floor Bedroom with 1 double bunk bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
£17 per person, £5 Supplement for Single
Bedroom 2, sleeps 6, 3 double bunk beds with duvet sheet and pillow cases. Towels also provided. £12 per person

This bunk is ideally situated as a meeting place for friends, groups of walkers, or walkers passing through on the Coast to Coast Trail. An ideal place to park your car and spend days walking the fells, mountain biking in all directions of the compass. Helvellyn, Roman Road along High Street, Fairfield, Dovedale and lots more. Catch the Ullswater Steamers to Howtown and walk back
